Hello everyone, and welcome to the week! It’s time again for a look back at the remarkable updates of the past seven days. Phew, it’s another scorching hot day here in Japan. Hot enough to melt my brain. I somehow still managed to put together a list of interesting updates for you to watch. Of course, you can keep an eye out for updates yourself by participating in the TouchArcade forums. This weekly recap is just there to inform you about the things you may have missed. Let’s go for it!

Fire Emblem Heroes, Free I think we’re celebrating half anniversaries now? Okay. This update adds a new event type to the game called Binding Worlds. It’s not active yet, but it should be available a little later in the month. There are a number of new abilities for Legendary Hero Alm and Mythic Hero Naga, and five new card types have been added to the Arena. Otherwise, it’s the usual stuff, like mixing up the roster of heroes in upcoming summoning events.

Tiny Tower: 8 Bit Retro Tycoon, Free It’s summer in the tower and that means a summer event is about to start. Keep your eyes peeled for VIPs and deliver them to earn points. When you reach certain thresholds, you will earn different rewards. Sure, who doesn’t love free goodies? Make sure to check in at the end of each week to claim those rewards, of course. There are also some bug fixes in this version, especially regarding the technical structure.

FINAL FANTASY IV$13.99 Square Enix is still hammering away at some of the bugs and other issues in it Pixel remastersand Final Fantasy IV is the last beneficiary of his efforts. As with other such updates, there are numerous minor and major fixes here. Some interesting ones include adjusting the balance to make the game a little harder, making the enemy drop rates a little higher, and adding a nice little graphic hover effect to flying enemies.

Subway Surfers TagA little too early for Subway Surfers Tag to do a world tour I guess. Instead, the kids go to the rooftops. Wow, dangerously much? The new Rooftop arena is ready for action, so head upstairs and see what’s what. Other changes in this version include making it easier to keep your combos going for longer, some improvements to the visuals, tweaks to the parameters of the missions to make them more challenging, and a few other things.

LEGO® FightingLEGO is now apparently 90 years old. How many 90-year-old toys are still so relevant? A few probably. LEGO Brawls celebrates the occasion with some limited time minifigures, weapons and power-ups from golden champions. There are a number of new party-themed emotes and a special LEGO Wood Duck power-up that pays tribute to the company’s early days. Play throughout the month and see if you can spot a rare Mr. Gold minifig can score! I never met the man, but if I did, I would probably offer to cut his hair and then run off with my ill-gotten wealth.

Crossy Road+, I think Hipster Whale decided to cross the multiplayer road when they came along. That time is now, as multiplayer support has been added to this Apple Arcade-enhanced version of the now-classic crosser. Grab a controller, grab a friend, grab some chips and cross the road!

Marvel Contest of ChampionsFree There is always something going on in this game, and this time it seems like a lot of shenanigans involving the Silver Surfer, Quicksilver, stolen Cosmic Seeds and… galan? oh oh. They’re all mysterious about him, but I imagine most Marvel fans know who that name is. In addition to the new events, Juggernaut has received an update that will hopefully help him balance a bit among the roster of champions.

Temple Run 2, Free The Blooming Sands are back! The luscious map returns, offering plenty of coins and artifacts to collect while knocking your feet away from that Demon Monkey. Outrider Barry Bones and Shadow Walker Karma Lee are also back for some adventures, and the Grizzled Guy outfit and two new hats are here to adorn your heroes with. Is called.

Disney Heroes: Battle ModeFree You know, with the new icon I was expecting a Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers event or something. Unfortunately, that’s not what this latest version of Disney Heroes is about. Instead, our new character is Agent P from Phineas and Ferbo. You know him, he’s the platypus of Where’s my Perry. Remember that? Strange time in the history of mobile gaming. Anyway, he is now part of the playable roster in this game. Add in some of those good old fashioned bug fixes and game improvements, and that’s about it. Well, at least it’s still alive.

brawlhalla, Free Oh, this is the last one. I think it gets the coveted UMMSotW price for the week. I hope it’s worth it because it’s too late for me to turn the car over now. Let’s see… oh, that’s okay. The latest legend added to the game is Ezio, from Assassin’s Creed II and its two sequels. He seems to be a popular guy. There’s also an Epic Crossover with Eivor, a new Bounty game mode, and more. Fire it up if you want to see all the details.
That about sums it up for last week’s major updates. I’m sure I missed a few, so feel free to comment below and let everyone know if you think anything should be mentioned. As usual, major updates this week will likely get their own news stories, and I’ll be back next Monday to summarize and fill in the blanks. Have a good week!
