From ‘Minecraft’ to ‘Fortnite’, these are the most popular titles on YouTube to date.
When you open YouTube and explore the “Gaming” section, you’ll see a large selection of games, including “Dota 2,” “Apex Legends,” “Super Smash Bros.” and more.
You can also view the featured clips which you can check based on your browsing history and subscriptions. The algorithm depends on the usual games that you usually watch or click on YouTube.
There is another section where you will see the trending videos from the past few days. The recent matches in the world of MOBA and other game genres will appear as soon as you click on ‘Show all’.
Despite the emergence of the latest titles, a large number of fans are sticking to their favorites, usually games that have been running for a long time.
Here’s a quick tour of the most popular games on YouTube.
‘Roblox’
The origins of “Roblox” can be traced back as far as 2006, but its popularity began to soar in 2016. Knowing that this game has been around for a long time, many current players still have no idea about the old platform.
The game has become a huge hit for people who want to share their in-game achievements with other players on a regular basis. When “Roblox” streams on YouTube started appearing out of the blue, fans couldn’t contain their excitement about them.
This kid-centric platform isn’t just for young players, but kids at heart too. The best thing about “Roblox” is the vibrant community full of discussions, twists and updates.
Unfortunately, it is also plagued by cheaters and hackers. The game was also reportedly hit by malware that had infected many computers worldwide.
‘PUBG’
Battle Royale games are not a thing of the past, but when “PlayersUnknown’s BattleGround” (PUBG) came out, millions of players were taken aback by the gameplay and mechanics.
It was first released on PC, specifically on the Steam platform. Since not everyone can afford a PC, the developers decided to launch the mobile version.
To date, “PUBG” remains one of the most popular games used by streamers on YouTube.
‘fortnite’
The list won’t be complete without mentioning Epic’s “Fortnite”. This other battle royale title is still going big right now.
You can see a lot of ‘Fortnite’ videos from different channels on YouTube, so it’s a good idea that it’s included in the list.
‘GTA V’
The “Grand Theft Auto” franchise is a success story for Rockstar Games. This lineup, from the very beginning, gathers impressive feedback from the players.
On YouTube, you may have already come across ‘GTA V’, which launched in 2013. Although newer ‘GTA’ versions have been released since then, it remains a more popular choice among gamers.

‘minecraft’
Last on the list and the most trending game in the world right now is “Minecraft”. More than 230 million copies have been sold worldwide, but that’s not the only spectacular thing about it.
It’s at the top of the game pyramid for some reason. First, it’s all about creativity and interaction. Second, it’s versatile, and it won’t bore you easily as it will test your artsy side.
Well-known streamers such as Feinberg, GeogeNotFound and Dream have already earned millions in revenue from their non-stop “Minecraft” streams on YouTube.
