FromSoftware has brought iconic games to the world, such as the dark souls series, Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and more. Director Hidetaka Miyazaki, known for his lore and fragmented storytelling in their games, collaborated with A song of ice and fire author George RR Martin on Elden Ring to develop a storyline that is more accessible to a general audience. This link has turned out to be a success, because Elden Ring is the best-selling game of the year.
Elden Ring, according to Miyazaki, was intended as an evolution of the souls spell. Like other FromSoftware projects, players can customize characters, travel across many countries and fight against many different types of enemies. Although it may not be called literally Elden Ring 2, there are unlimited possibilities for the future of Elden Ring.
