Today, the new Dead By Daylight PTB update goes live, featuring the new Resident Evil crossover bringing Wesker (The Mastermind) to DBD.
As usual, Behavior Interactive developers undergo a thorough testing period for the new changes before launching them on live servers.
And this means anyone willing to put up with the bugs can experience Project W Chapter’s new content today. Here’s everything we know about the new DBD PTB 6.2.0 going live on August 9.

Dead By Daylight PTB 6.2.0 Patch Notes
Behavior Interactive has released a full list of changes being tested today as part of the new launch of Dead By Daylight PTB 6.2.0.
Gamers will have access to the new Mastermind assassin, a character with his own set of skills and expected to be a very popular choice.
This PTB also includes everything else that comes with the next chapter of the game, Resident Evil: PROJECT W. This means fans will be testing the new updates to the Racoon City Police Station map and various quality of life improvements.
It should be noted that any progress made in the PTB will not go back to the Live version of the game, meaning you can only test what will be available in the game later in 2022. The full Dead By Daylight PTB patch notes for the Wesker update can be found below:
