boruto Chapter 72 came out recently and covered quite a few interesting plot points. Now that Code had unlocked his true Karma power, fans expected him to put on a show in his little clash against Daemon, but the opposite happened and Code lost the fight horribly.

Thanks to his transport jutsu, he managed to survive and in the recent chapter took over the dimension of Isshiki. There he encountered the huge 10 Tails introduced earlier in the series. Fans already know how awesome this beast is, and now, thanks to Code’s ability, it’s turned into something even more monstrous and possibly more terrifying.

The power of the code

Code possesses an incredibly overwhelmed ability which he uses with his claw marks. He usually uses these markings to transport a part of himself to another place that is also marked with the same material. Fans have seen this capability being used on several occasions now and its application is certainly quite dangerous. Recently, this jutsu was also compared to Minato’s Flying Thunder God and was said to be much better in comparison. Interestingly, transport isn’t the only ability Code can use with his claw tracks.

In boruto Chapter 72 gave fans a brand new application of his powers. According to Code, his claw marks are made by mixing iron from his blood with embodied chakra. This means that they can communicate with any kind of chakra and manipulate them with their ability accordingly. This was seen in full action in boruto chapter 72 when Code covered the entirety of the juvenile Ten-Tails in his claw marks.

The humanoid ten-tails

The Ten-Tails turned out to be a seed that feeds on a planet’s chakra and extracts all its life force. At one point, a full-fledged Otsutsuki is fed to the Ten-Tails so that it can bear a powerful chakra fruit. Previously, Isshiki’s goal was to feed Boruto Uzumaki to the Ten-Tails once he came back to life in Kawaki’s body. However, Code seems to have other plans for the beast, at least for now. Since the Ten-Tails is an entity made of pure chakra, Code’s claw tracks can easily communicate with him and manipulate him accordingly. With all of his limiters removed, Code can now extend his claw tracks indefinitely.

By covering the entire beast in it, he was able to split parts of his body into smaller entities that resemble a humanoid version of the Ten-Tails. They possess tremendous strength and while their exact strength remains unknown, they are quite formidable. Plus, they also carry Code’s claw mark, meaning they can easily use his transport ninjutsu too. This means that the beasts are not only very powerful but also have the ability to use very useful jutsu that can help them in battle. In the coming arc they will certainly be incredibly relevant. However, it is not yet known exactly how Code plans to deploy them.

The role of Humanoid Ten Tails in the future

Since the code was recently finalized, boruto will now be looking to start his new arc. Recently, Shikamaru convened Team 7 for a brand new mission, describing it as something only Boruto and his team can handle. At the same time, Code created his many Ten Tails humanoids that are sure to come into play in the upcoming arc. Fans will likely find themselves hindering Boruto and his team as they set out on a new mission. Since they are made from the Ten-Tails, it is a given that these creatures will be quite powerful.

In Narutos Fourth Great Ninja War, fans saw the Ten-Tails split themselves up into smaller creatures, which is quite similar to what Code did in the previous chapter. Surprisingly, those Ten Tails clones were rather weak. Since the story needs them to be narratively strong, it’s likely that these humanoid Ten Tails will be much stronger. A hint of their power was given to the fans when Isshiki absorbed the beast’s chakra before going to battle with Naruto and Sasuk.

With only a fragment of his strength, he was able to overpower both shinobi at once. As such, these fragments of the Ten-Tails will likely be strong enough to hold out even against Karma bearers. That said, their true strength can only be truly judged when they do battle with the story’s heroes and achieve their goal. With the likes of Kawaki, Boruto, and possibly even Konohamaru getting in the way of these humanoid beasts, fans will likely see some high-octane action in the coming boruto chapters.
