Father’s Day is just around the corner, 9News.com.au has compiled a list of the best tech for dad this year.

If you need some ideas to show the father figure in your life how much you love them, we’ve got you covered. But one thing’s for sure, technology for Dad isn’t always cheap.

If Dad doesn’t run it at full volume, you should be able to get two days out of a full charge. It’s also surprisingly light for its size, making it easy to take with you on any camping or fishing trip.

The Carry On Pro is lightweight but has a sturdy outer shell. It’s also on four wheels, so dragging it across terminals is a breeze.

Belkin also has some great porta-power solutions, the Belkin Boost Charge Power Bank 20K, which retails for just under $80, can charge two devices at once.

It is the perfect companion on the bedside table. I’ve been using the Belkin phone and charging pad for years and it hasn’t let me down.

This device works best with MagSafe compatible iPhones, but also has a Qi charger underneath for Airpods and the like. This charging stand costs $229.95.

Twelve South PowerPic – $99

A photo frame that doubles as a wireless charger? Your dad already gets power from seeing your face and for $99 his phone can too.

Magnets connect a sheet of glass to the back panel that slide together into a solid black base that fits most desktops. Make sure his phone supports wireless charging before you buy!

Nanoleaf Elements have a wooden design and start from $119. (Nano leaf)

The Nanoleaf range starts at around $120 and now offers a stack of different shapes and styles. The Nanoleaf Elements have a wooden style and offer a natural finish to any bar, workshop or garage. The module design allows you to add as many panels as you want in any direction. Nanoleaf also has their classic triangular panels and Nanoleaf Lines.

How about a robotic lawnmower to give Dad his weekends back? This small robot can independently mow lawns up to 600 square meters, navigating slopes of up to 30 degrees.

Whether Dad has a sore back or just doesn’t have to maintain the grass anymore, the MoeBot robotic lawnmowers are a cut above the rest.

The box may say it’s only a 120-inch screen size, but that size can easily be expanded to double that with minimal loss of quality. It includes Android TV, has built-in speakers, and a single charge gets you about four hours of playtime.

It may sound a bit gimmicky, but it’s two gifts in one: a high-quality coffee maker and a smart assistant.

Nespresso’s newest capsule machine from the original line has a detachable milk frother that froths the milk while it’s in your cup, reducing the need to wash dishes for your dad. At the moment they are only available at Nespresso’s boutiques and online.

The latest SteelSeries gaming headphones are known for their high-end gaming gear and are the best on the market not only in sound quality but also in design. Dad can’t go wrong with this.

Sony’s new INZONE Gaming headphones should hit the shelves just before Father’s Day. 9News recently went hands-on with the devices and can happily recommend the H7 and H9 to any gaming dad. Sony’s INZONE range comes to stores and online on August 18.

This keyboard has been my everyday keyboard for a few months now and has not let me down. The keyboard comfortably handles everything from active gaming to everyday computer work. The RGB lighting, palm rest and volume scroll wheel are also a nice touch.

When it comes to the latest games for dad, here’s our list:

  • Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition, daddy likes to mow the grass but is the garden ready yet? This is the solution for the dad who is addicted to mowing the lawn.
  • MLB The Show 22Despite being published by Sony, MLB The Show is also available on Xbox and PC. It is perfect for any major league baseball enthusiast.
  • NBA 2K23this one comes out a few days after Father’s Day, but a real winner for the basketball-loving dad.
