Seven days…. Seven days! That equals a week, and a new week means a new list of the best new Android games here at DroidGamers. Thankfully it’s been a pretty solid week for new releases, so we’ve got a lot to talk about!
If there are any major releases we missed this week, let us know in the comments. We are always looking for the latest and greatest releases!
Best New Android Game: Papers, Please

If you’re looking for the best new Android games and you haven’t bought Papers yet, you’re doing it wrong. Created by Lucas Pope, this dystopian border patrol game is one of the best indie titles released in the past decade. It’s just one of the greats.
After a decade of iOS exclusives, Papers, Please has finally come to Android. Hell, even the PlayStation Vita got a port of the game before us Droid Gamers did. But is this new conversion worth waiting for years to play on Android?
Absolutely yes. Even ten years later, Papers, Please is still a phenomenal title wherever you play it. This Android port does make some changes. For example, you play with a new portrait ratio and the game’s economy has been rebalanced somewhat. Other than that, it’s the same game as before, only on Android.
If you want to play one of the best new Android games this week, you have to pay for it. At just £4.09 or your regional equivalent, we think this is actually a steal. If you like real games on Android without monetization, supporting this masterpiece is the way to go. Get it here.
Tower of Fantasy

At the time of writing, Tower of Fantasy is not technically available to play properly. However, the game will go live later today and from what we’ve seen, you don’t want to miss it.
As an open-world gacha RPG, Tower of Fantasy is clearly vying for Genshin’s crown. Will it take it? Probably not, but it seems like a nice alternative!
Unlike Genshin, Tower of Fantasy has a brilliant character creator. You can create your own unique anime protagonist to play with many options, similar to Noah’s Heart.
When the game starts well, you can explore a beautiful world. In this world, you have to explore the alien world of Aida and reveal the secrets of the Omnium Tower.
Featuring fantastic hack and slash combat, Tower of Fantasy is part of a new wave of mobile games that prove that mobile gaming isn’t just about idle games. And honestly, thank goodness. We started to get very bored with them. Get the game here.
Cross Summoner: R

A revived version of 2014’s much-loved Cross Summoner, Cross Summoner: R, has been eagerly anticipated by fans. This is an exciting new release that brings the once massive mobile JRPG to a new generation of pocket gamers.
Another free-to-play gacha title, Cross Summoner: R doesn’t really do anything you haven’t seen before. It does have some beautiful artwork though, although that’s the norm these days.
In the game you have to unravel the mysteries of a destroyed world. To do this, you must use gacha mechanics to summon allies and build teams to fight!
You can fight in huge PvE battles and participate in PvP to show off your team. If that interests you, check out the game here.
Heroes Corp

Heroes Corp, a one-man indie game for Android, is a top-down shooter with voxel graphics. It is a simplistic game but has a free action game on android it is worth a try. After all, we love to support indie developers here at Droid Gamers.
In the game you fight against enemies in simplistic voxel environments with spectacular particle effects. Each character is unique and many of them are parodies of famous anime or video game characters. For example, you can destroy the world as Saitama from One Punch Man or launch briefcases as Agent 47.
It’s a very simple game, but one that you can easily sink into for a few hours. After all, it’s free, so why not give it a try. You can pick it up here.
Idle Boot

Another indie game created by one person, Idle Startup is exactly what it sounds like. If you’re a fan of seeing numbers rise, this might be the game for you!
In Idle Startup, you start as a solo developer and work towards creating a great business. As you work to get more resources, you can expand to become one of the greats.
Depicted with simplistic 3D graphics, this is a cute little clicker well worth a download. After all, it’s free; check it out here.
