No doubt the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) has taken over the movie industry with the steady release of new movies and series that hardcore fans can’t get enough of. And as the MCU introduces new characters like Namor, the cinematic universe continues to expand to new heights. But while fans have long loved how Marvel has adapted their favorite heroes to the big screen, the video game adaptations haven’t always hit the mark.
Games like Guardians of the Universe or Marvel’s Avengers received harsh criticism, which ultimately led to their failures. Some Marvel games have fulfilled the aspirations of fans, and Marvel Future Battle is one such game that allows players to play as their favorite heroes and villains. But there’s more to it Marvel Future Battle than choosing a hero, as players must also choose the right artifact if they want to win the battle against evil.
7 Wolverine – The Immortal Warrior
Skill:
Players who want to successfully complete a level need to make sure their team stays alive, and while that’s easy in the early stages of the game, the enemies are much stronger in the later stages. So an effective artifact to have regardless of game mode is Wolverine’s Artifact as it can save a hero from death.
And that’s because once a hero has less than 5% HP, the Artifact’s ability is activated and regains 50% of its Max HP. And if Wolverine is part of the team, he gains an extra percentage of HP for every Total Instinct buff he has. In addition, using Wolverine’s Artifact grants the user Guard Break immunity.
6 Gilgamesh – Roar of Valor
Skill:
While Gilgamesh isn’t often considered one of the most powerful heroes, as he lacks certain abilities that make him Superman-esque, he’s still one of the strongest Eternals in the MCU. Gilgamesh in Marvel Future Battle is a decent hero, especially if a player needs a tanky character. And that’s because his leadership skill (ruthless power) increases base defense by +50%.
But his Artifact is where his real power is as it restores HP by 80%. In addition, Roar of Valor also increases Max HP by 75% (an additional 0.1% for each Total Instinct buff). This artifact has a 27-second cooldown, allowing players to constantly heal their team.
5 Hela – Blessing of Death
Skill:
Hela is a powerful villain of the Support type in Marvel Future Battle as most of her abilities improve Attack and Dodge rating by a certain percentage (depending on the villain’s level). But players should include a tank in their team as Hela is quite soft compared to other Support-type villains.
Despite a long cooldown (180 seconds), Hela’s Artifact can save an entire team in no time. That’s because the Blessing of Death Artifact is triggered when a party member’s HP drops below 5%, increasing their HP Recovery Rate by 50%. Players can increase their party’s HP Recovery Rate as the party has more total instincts before activation.
4 Sersi – Vision of the Ancients
Skill:
-
Eternal Resurrection Lv.4
Unfortunately, Sersi falls short of being a true Blast type due to her poor toolbox and because most of her Sersi’s abilities are limited to the other Eternals. But players who have access to all Eternals (Gilgamesh, Ikaris, Thena) will be able to blow through most stages as they work together better than other factions.
The good news is that her Artifact (Vision of the Ancients) is one of the best in Marvel Future Battle because it can revive a party member with 50% of Max HP every 300 seconds. As players can expect, this ability can come in handy when facing boss-like enemies.
3 Heimdall – Vision of the Rich
Skill:
Undoubtedly, Heimdall is one of the best Tank-type characters in Marvel Future Battle because he decreases all damage received by 25% and increases the dodge speed by 35%. And players equipping the Asgard Invasion Uniform will allow Heimdal every 12 seconds to remove any Debuff. But interestingly enough, Heimdal’s Artifact doesn’t increase a player’s team’s defense, but instead increases their overall damage.
It increases the base damage dealt (20%) to any character in the Super Villain faction. Of course, most players use artifacts that are limited to a specific faction, but the Super Villain faction is one of the most common in Marvel Strike Forcemaking it extremely useful.
2 Emma Frost – Diamond Queen
Skill:
Barriers and shields are one of the most OP buffs in Marvel Future Battle because they can disable most attacks. Veteran players tend to counter these buffs by using Speed-type characters, as they can essentially defeat an enemy character before making a move.
But, of course, most players don’t like using Speed type characters as they tend to be softer than most. Fortunately, players can use Emma Frost’s Artifact to reduce the amount of damage received (35%) and reflect it back to the attacker. Additionally, this Artifact increases Max Attack by 0.5% per Total Instinct stack.
1 Scarlet Witch – Love and Chaos
Skill:
Scarlet Witch is a must-have Universal-type character in Marvel Future Battle because she can heal herself and penetrate Super Armor, Barrier, Shield, and Invincible buffs. She can also buffer her energy attacks, making her a well-rounded character similar to Doctor Strange or Adam Warlock.
But her artifact makes her shine, as it increases the damage dealt to superheroes and supervillains by 20%. And to top it off, players can further increase this damage boost for each stack of Total Instinct, up to 200%. So without a doubt, the Love and Chaos artifact is the best artifact to use Marvel Future Battle.
Marvel Future Battle is now available for download on Android and iOS.
