One of the most popular superhero video game series is the Batman Arkham series. In the early 2000s, superhero-based video games couldn’t live up to the high expectations of fans because they were simply inadequate adaptations of the successful superhero movies to hit the big screen.
In the early 2000s, there were no superhero video games that made a name for themselves in the gaming world. The excitement surrounding superhero games at the time was short-lived as other popular games in other genres quickly surpassed them.
