With the highly anticipated PS5 remake of The Last Of Us Part I coming to Sony’s home console in September, it looks like some things will be changed for the trophies and may make it a little easier for newcomers and fans to earn them all to unlock the platinum trophy. And with the recent release of the Saint’s Row remake also seems to have an easier time for gamers to get the latest trophies in the game, fans can also look forward to some fun games with great incentive.
But there are plenty of games available on the console that have proven to be one of the easiest and fastest ways for those who want to get these coveted trophies for their console. And some may surprise and amaze players with how quick and easy it really can be to earn them.
10 Astro’s playroom
This game was bundled with the PS5 consoles and a surprisingly in-depth technical demo in the form of a platformer that the whole family can enjoy. A great introduction to the console’s technology and features, it was a short and enjoyable title for many.
To earn the Platinum Trophy, players need to double the time it takes to complete the game, but luckily it only takes an extra two to three hours on top of the previous three hours to complete the game. And the road to complete this task is filled with collectibles and beating certain times of the levels that will not prove too difficult for most.
9 dark sauce
In this adventure platform game, a pig tries to steal gold from a dragon in a dangerous dungeon. And while it may seem like a challenging title, it actually has a shockingly fast route to taking some players straight to the sought-after reward.
Thirty minutes is all everyone needs, and it is possible with the cheat codes accessible in the game. This doesn’t make it a quick way to earn level-specific trophies, but will also help gamers avoid the level-to-level grind.
8 Pinkman+
Developed by Ratalaika Games, players control a pink man as they precisely run and jump through a series of dangerous obstacles and tricky platforms. While some will no doubt find some of the levels challenging, it can be easily beaten before the end credits of an episode of the latest television series kick in.
There are a total of 45 levels and once players reach the end of the final stage, they can earn the Platinum. It takes just under thirty minutes to beat.
7 storm boy
There may be plenty of children’s books that have been made into movies, but there are also some that have been made into video games. Based on Colin Thiele’s children’s book of the same name, the game tells the story of a boy who rescues a Pelican chick that grows up to be his companion. With a collection of mini-games and a colorfully designed world, it can also be a soothing game at times.
Even with the minigames and a fun story, it’s obviously a short PS5 game, despite some critical praise. If one wants to earn all the rewards of the game, they have to make sure to discover all the minigames and even if they do, it can be easily beaten in about thirty minutes.
6 Milo’s Quest
Inspired by the top-down games and other similar JRPGs from the 16-bit era, SNES and GBA fans may be interested in the game. By taking control of Milo the dog, players must solve puzzles and fight ghosts trying to take over the world.
Earning each trophy can be achieved within an hour and all one has to do is change the settings in the Adventure Only mode and set it to the easiest difficulty setting. Once gamers reach the end, all they need to do is start a new game and beat one puzzle and everyone will have a shiny new collection of trophies for their consoles.
5 Memory Strip
With several games now available in the series, players can try their hand at testing their memory with multiple card sets that match the images, making for a classic and relaxing gaming experience. And while it will test everyone’s memory, they won’t be tested when getting Sony’s price.
During the game, players earn points for each pair of cards that match. This simple approach won’t take long for someone to get the final trophy and is one of the quickest and easiest to get as long as people enjoy these types of puzzle games.
4 My name is Mayo
Green Lava Studios was able to remove the mundane concept of the lid from a jar of mayonnaise in a simple and obscure point-and-click game. It even exceeded expectations and saw it become a trilogy of games where players have to remove the lids from various jars containing the condiment.
By completing the different stages of the Mayo’s story (yes, it really does have a story mode), everyone just has to press the X button repeatedly until they’re done. Some might be bored with this very rudimentary gameplay mechanics, but it’s also one of the easiest to beat.
3 Mr. Massagy
From the same studio as the My name is Mayo trilogy, Mr. Massagy was their attempt to create a dating simulator game that players love like no other. By dating a series of people, players must try their best to impress in order to win a controller massage.
The game is divided into nine dating scenarios with different characters, and each scenario is so short that it takes up to thirty minutes to get the platinum trophy. However, it may take a few retries and specific actions to get there.
2 Heavy traffic
With a dangerous road ahead for the delivery person, players must try to cross a busy road to deliver a precious package. Despite the danger of cars and other motorized hazards, getting the glitzy prize is a quick process.
The game includes milestones where everyone’s progress can be recorded, and upon reaching sixteen thousand, all trophies must be unlocked. And if gamers do this process right, they can achieve it in under ten minutes.
1 Legends Of Talia: Arcadia
Developer Winged Cloud tried to create a fantasy simulation game filled with anime-inspired characters and a story of a hero trying his best. But the writers behind the game may be disappointed that everyone can skip it all by pressing the X button repeatedly.
Since the game has no branching paths and tells a linear story, people can easily reach the end within a minute to share their prize with their friends on the PS5 by repeatedly pressing the button. Not only does this make it one of the easiest platinum trophies to achieve, but also the fastest.
