What to expect from Assassin’s Creed’s September event

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed The September event could bring a number of revelations to the table, all of which mean quite different things to the franchise as a whole. The most likely announcement is a new title called Assassin’s Creed rupture. At the moment the only details are available on Assassin’s Creed Rift come from leaks or industry insider reports, so fans should take all this information with a grain of salt.

According to leaks and reports, Assassin’s Creed Riftas it is currently codenamed, the next main line item will be in the Assassin’s Creed franchisee. Evidently, rupture was originally developed as an extension to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, but the project had so much potential that it was given full game status. Due to this, however, Assassin’s Creed Rift will apparently also be a much smaller experience than the last few AC titles, with more emphasis on stealth gameplay than open-world exploration. rupture will probably follow Basim Ibn Ishaq, one of Walhalla‘s lead characters, as he makes his way through the Middle East. While not officially confirmed yet, this game has been heavily leaked over the past year, with a range of sources confirming each other’s reports.

While Assassin’s Creed Rift will be Ubisoft’s next main title in the franchise, and will therefore be the most likely reveal at the September event, it’s also possible a few other titles will be announced as well. A game that has been leaked and reported almost as much as rupture, Assassin’s Creed Infinity could be fully revealed at the September event. According to leaks, Assassin’s Creed Infinity will be a multi-year, live-service project that will tie new releases together.

At the moment it is quite unclear what exactly? Assassin’s Creed Infinity will be. According to Bloomberg’s report, it won’t be a complete submission. Instead of, Assassin’s Creed Infinity will act as a platform connecting other entries, with constantly evolving gameplay and storytelling, achieved with a consistent stream of updates, much like other live service titles such as Fortnite or Apex Legends.

The potential for Assassin’s Creed Infinity is immense. New historical eras, new characters and new stories can be easily added to the franchise through this platform, and the sheer amount of content that can be added could be enough to bring in a whole host of new fans. On top of that, AC infinite can be used as a testing ground for new gameplay mechanics, allowing fans to instantly determine which mechanics will or will not work for the series. Assassin’s Creed Infinity has the potential to be one of the most unique live service titles out there, as long as Ubisoft realizes and delivers on that potential.

One last announcement that could be on the cards for Assassin’s CreedThe September event is a remake of the first game. Last month, some eagle-eyed fans thought that the images of the original AC game used during the 15th anniversary live stream looked significantly better than it should have been. This led some to believe that Ubisoft would soon be announcing a remaster or remake of the 2007 original Assassin’s Creed, as a way to round out the 15th anniversary celebration. While this is based on pure speculation and rumor, a remaster or remake of the original game wouldn’t be completely out of left field as Ubisoft has remastered other games in the series before.

Why Assassin’s Creed’s September Event Is So Important

This September event is quite important for the Assassin’s Creed brand as a whole. While Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been a huge success for Ubisoft, the AC fanbase is still a bit divided on the current state of the franchise. Although the series definitely needed a switch-up after that Syndicatesome AC fans are now longing for a return to that classic Assassin’s Creed formula, and don’t really fit into the new RPG-style titles.

This September event is the perfect platform for Ubisoft to please both new and old Assassin’s Creed fans, making the brand stronger than ever. While certainly difficult, this goal is not unattainable. by announcing Assassin’s Creed Riftmay longtime fans of the series come back on board, with the title apparently being a smaller stealth-based title just like the first few AC spell. What’s more, like a remake or remaster of the first Assassin’s Creed game is announced, it will almost certainly bring back longtime fans.

On the other hand, Assassin’s Creed Infinity has the potential to bring in a plethora of new fans, steer the franchise in a bold new direction, and give fans something they haven’t seen from the franchise yet. Likewise, if Assassin’s Creed Infinity is basically a live service title and has a constant stream of new content, then if fans aren’t one type AC gameplay, then the game will be updated soon with something they like. This one Assassin’s Creed The September event could bring more fans to the franchise than ever before, if Ubisoft plays its cards right.
