A Twitch streamer reveals a winning lottery scratch ticket worth $1.5 million to a live audience as she cries and screams in excitement.

Popular streamers like xQc and Trainwrecks are known for gambling before a growing Twitch audience, and there are other lesser-known creators that delve into the same genre of content. One Twitch streamer has won $1.5 million from a lottery ticket that she scratched in front of several live viewers.

South Korean livestreamer Ruruflower often broadcasts in Twitch's Just Chatting category like many other streamers in an effort to maintain a relationship with her community. Ruruflower has reached a following of over 11,000 Twitch viewers through often streaming in 10-hour intervals whether donations were coming through or not. Like other gamblers on Twitch do with slots, Ruruflower occasionally highlights her habit by showing the community her lottery tickets and she recently revealed a big winner in tears.

During a Twitch stream earlier this week, Ruruflower screamed and cried while displaying a lottery ticket that earned her $2 billion in South Korean Won, which equals about $1.5 million USD. The Twitch streamer quickly showed her viewers the corresponding shapes on her lottery ticket that resulted in the winnings while expressing the magnitude of such money before lightly smacking her face and screaming into her hands. Unlike the stationary nature of most Twitch gambling streams, the video showing her scratch ticket victory concludes with Ruruflower getting up in the excitement and grabbing the webcam to relocate while continuing to cry tears of joy.

The Twitch clip of Ruruflower revealing her winning $1.5 million lottery ticket has reached over 100,000 views and the moment has been shared through countless social media channels since it was posted to the Reddit Twitch clip compiler Livestream Fail. According to a Korean news outlet, Ruruflower was livestreaming from her flower shop when she scratched the winning lottery ticket and proclaimed “Look at this. What should I do? It’s crazy,” Ruruflower neglected to get into how she plans to spend her winnings despite asking for tips from her audience, but she should be able to do many things with $1.5 million.

Although some Ruruflower fans are worried about her safety after sharing how much she won from a lottery ticket online, others maintain that she may be protected by the attention. Because Twitch streamers like xQc have caused the community to resist gambling streams, some viewers even reject Ruruflower's scratcher celebration, with some expressing envy in the comments. Like with loads of winnings made from lottery tickets in the past, several Twitch fans also noted that a portion of the proceeds will be taxed by the South Korean government, but Ruruflower will still take home the lion's share.
