Annapurna Interactive, publisher of the upcoming adventure title Stray, offers a game to help raise funds for real-life strays.

BlueTwelve Studios scattered is one of the most anticipated games of the summer, and as launch day approaches, excitement is building for the next adventure title that puts players in the “shoe” of a stray cat. Since its June 2020 announcement at PlayStation’s Future of Gaming event, scattered It has become the most desired game on Steam, and PS4 and PS5 gamers are looking forward to it too.

Publisher Annapurna Interactive’s marketing efforts have steadily increased over the past week and include the launch of a scattered Cat themed backpack and harness from Travel Cat, a small company that creates products that allow cats to explore the world with their humans more safely. O scattered The backpack is a colorful version of “The Fat Cat,” the company’s best-selling carrier that has a clear bubble to let cats see their environment as they travel. The harness is a replica of the one used by Stray’s protagonist cat in the game.

Annapurna has also teamed up with some cat shelters and humanitarian societies to help them raise funds by handing out copies of scattered for PC, PS4 and PS5. These are Cats Protection, a UK-based cat welfare charity, as well as Nebraska Humane Cats and the Nebraska Humane Society. The requirements for entering the draw appear to vary, as does the number of copies available. The title follows the adventures of the cat who sets out to reunite with his family as he navigates a world populated by robots, some of them hostile. the gameplay of scattered features elements of platforming, puzzle solving, and navigational obstacles, although the player character is aided by a drone called the B12 and therefore doesn’t have to do it all alone.
