Karstaag is one of the toughest bosses in all of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, and this clip shows one player defeating them without breaking a sweat.
If there's one RPG that will go down in the annals of gaming history and be talked about for many years to come, it's probably The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim† Despite the fact that Bethesda came out in 2011 and fans lost their temper over the release of the next part, Bethesda's open world epic was one of the best-selling video games of May this year. Aside from the developer continuing to release new versions of it over the years, much of its longevity can be confirmed by how much there is to do and see in the game, be it exploring the land. , completing quests or fighting bosses.
Speaking of bosses, a Reddit user who goes by MuhBoi117 recently uploaded a short clip of them playing Skyrim, revealing that they are up against the mighty ice giant Karstaag. During the battle it becomes quite obvious that the player is highly skilled and within moments the boss is killed, much to the surprise of the user himself. In fact, the clip itself only lasts about 30 seconds, but the fight itself is over in about six hours.
Since Karstaag is one of the toughest bosses in Skyrim, it's a pretty impressive display of sword fighting. Many comments in the Reddit thread have said how much they were "absolutely destroyed" by the ghostly giant the first time they encountered them. In fact, the clip itself seems to suggest that MuhBoi117 was unprepared to be able to defeat the creature with relative ease. The short video ends with them looking around the cave, perhaps in a moment of confusion, before doing a series of victory crouch over the ashes of the fallen enemy.
For those who may not know, it is not possible to encounter this boss in the vanilla version of the game as Karstaag can only be found in Skyrim'Dragonborn' DLC. Released in 2012, this expansion features a new story and quest, with events taking place on the island of Solstheim, where players from The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind can be familiar with.
Although it's not the biggest Elder Scrolls game in terms of card size, Skyrim is easily the most successful entry in the entire franchise. With fans still presenting their experiences, it really makes clear how popular this decade-old title still is after all these years.
The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
