Despite the continuation of the global COVID-19 pandemic, Niantic’s mobile game Pokemon GO has largely weathered the storm thanks to some timely updates and changes to the experience. While the game encourages players to explore and meet new people, changes to the catch radius and bonuses helped players keep playing and be safe for a while. While many of these changes have since been rolled back, Niantic has managed to bring back a popular social event called Pokemon GO Fest.
The previous few events were canceled and made purely digital, this year the physical events have made a comeback. For 2022, Niantic has even announced three different personal events over the summer. While the first event took place in Germany in July and another is to come in Japan in early August, this weekend brings GO Fest to Seattle, Washington in the United States.
While Niantic has plenty to do for those who may not be able to reach Seattle, including a Global and Collection challenge, players who attend the in-person event will have a unique event-exclusive special survey to complete, leading to nice bonuses and event-exclusive Pokemon. to catch. So here are all the challenges that Pokemon GO players can finish along with the rewards earned.
