The open world of New York seen in Marvel’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales is impressive, but Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could expand it further.

An important feature that can be implemented to open the world of Marvel’s Spider Man 2 would be to include other boroughs of New York such as Queens and Brooklyn. Marvel’s Spider-Man introduced Insomniac’s version of Manhattan, featuring Spider-Man: Miles Morales change the map slightly for the winter. However, the sequel game can expand on this by including other city districts. Queens is synonymous with Peter Parker because he grew up there, while Miles Morales is from Brooklyn. If they were in the sequel, not only would that mean a bigger and more impressive map, but it could also increase the meaning of the story for both Spider-men.

Released in 2018, Marvel’s Spider-Man was Insomniac Games’ first dive into the Marvel universe. With impressive web-swing gameplay and a beautiful story, the PlayStation Exclusive was a huge success and became one of the best-selling games on the PlayStation 4. A spin-off game focused on webhead-in-training and Peter Parker’s protégé, Miles Morales, was released later in 2020. The two games have become huge successes and are widely known for their great gameplay mechanics and unique stories.

Considering how Marvel’s Spider Man 2 Mary-Jane and Peter may live in their new home in Queens, but it would make sense for the town to be part of the sequel’s new map. Queens, of course, is where Peter grew up, and the post-game for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales hinted at the map change by revealing that Peter was moving to a new place in Queens. It would be unusual not to be able to visit this new home in Marvel’s Spider Man 2because Peter now has an incentive to go back to Queens that wasn’t there in the first game.

Queens and Brooklyn can be explored in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

Marvel’s Spider Man 2 could very well be a much bigger game than its two predecessors. With dual protagonists, brand new skills and technology, and potentially a larger open world, players will have so much to sink their teeth into when the game releases in 2023. Featuring both Miles and Peter protagonists in Marvel’s Spider Man 2, the game’s story could see the adventures of both webslingers fighting in their own respective neighborhoods. There would probably be overlap, as it wouldn’t be fun to restrict one Spider-Man to one area, but bringing Miles and Peter back to their childhood homes in Brooklyn and Queens could be just the thing to recreate the tried-and-true franchise of the to renew franchise. -and tested New York setting. The last time Queens appeared in a Spider-Man game was in 2005 Ultimate Spider Manso it’s too late for a comeback.

Marvel’s Spider Man 2 won’t be out until 2023, but the hype is unreal. Building on the great gameplay and spectacular storytelling of the first two games, Marvel’s Spider Man 2 promises to be more massive and emotional than the first episode. One of the ways it can do this is by expanding the open world of the first two games. By including Brooklyn and Queens, the sequel can offer players an even bigger world to explore. This can even be explained by the story as Peter and MJ have now moved to Queens. No matter how the map may change, Marvel’s Spider Man 2 is certainly greater than Insomniac’s previous efforts.
