NEW ADDITIONS
Example of game settings
We’ve added a visual preview widget to all Gameplay settings in the Options menu, including HUD, minimap, and interactions.
As you toggle between on/off and other choices, the widget updates for each individual selection. Where it makes sense, there are also animations to mimic the gameplay experience.
PC: Nvidia DLSS 2.4.3
We have officially implemented DLSS version 2.4.3 with the July patch. We intentionally used version 2.3.2 since the May patch because we were aware of some visual issues with version 2.4.3.
Elusive arcade tweak
We made a back-end change to Elusive Target Arcade, allowing HITMAN 3 owners to play all existing and future Arcade contracts, regardless of their ownership of HITMAN 1 or HITMAN 2. Previously, players were required to have an ‘Access Pass’. ‘ for HITMAN 1 or HITMAN 2 to access the relevant Arcade contracts.
This change allows us to create Arcade contracts that are not limited to objectives from the same game. We can now choose from the full list of available Elusive Targets to create more variety and themes. You’ll see the first of these appear in-game starting in August.
PS5 Activities
We’ve made changes to the ‘Activity Cards’ for PS5 users to show more relevant ones based on what you own.
SOLUTIONS AND IMPROVEMENTS
Stability improvements
We’ve improved overall stability across all platforms by addressing various issues that could cause the game to crash or crash.
Unlock access
Fixed an issue where players could not gain level control or item unlock if they encountered a server connection while switching between levels, rebooting, reschedule, going to the menu, or ending a level. We’ve made several changes to prevent this from happening in previous patches, and this additional change will make the chances of this happening even less likely.
AWOL HUD
Fixed an issue where some elements of the HUD could disappear if players save their game while the mission name/location is displayed on the screen in the first seconds of a mission.
Note: This fix only affects Steam and Epic players, while the issue persists for other players. Our next patch will fix the problem for everyone else.
side flash
We fixed an issue with the HWK 21 Covert pistol, with the flash on the muzzle being extremely bright and out of line with the barrel.
She‘s stopped gargling
Fixed an issue where NPCs could get stuck in an endless animation loop after being injected with an anesthetic syringe.
Ashen Six
We have the description of the . updated Number six with gloves business suit. Just in time.
Tropical shine
We fixed an issue where the tropical suit (Haven Island unlock) was waaay too shiny.
Chongqing hides crash
Fixed a crash that could occur when hiding an item in a trash can while taking cover in a certain location in Chongqing.
Antisocial
We fixed an issue where the lawyer in Mendoza was holding his phone upside down and the other way around.
Prevention of Photographic Destruction
Fixed an issue that prevented players from earning the Silent Assassin rating in the Dubai campaign mission. In particular, players who have been spotted by a camera and subsequently switched off the cameras via the server room terminal, would then not be able to ‘delete recordings’ via the ‘normal’ camera recorders.
Master meeting room
Fixed an issue where players were immediately noticed when they started at the Meeting room in Dubai on Master degree of difficulty.
lust keys
Fixed an issue where players could not collect keys during the Escalation of lust assignment [7DS].
Most people never notice
We ended the conspiracy theories in Berlin and removed the barcode from the back of Man’s guest list head, also known as Ziegler. He was never part of Ort-Meyer’s army and now he never will be.
FSP audio
Fixed an issue where menu music would not resume after watching a movie in the free starter pack.
World of Assassination Solutions
Hokkaido: Snow Festival Suite
We fixed an issue where it was not possible to start the mission in Suite by Tobias Rieper. Now this starting location is unlocked by default.
Stingray: Villa Vision
We fixed several issues that allowed NPCs and (especially!) targets on Haven Island to see through different walls and floors. This was a complicated and tricky issue to tackle, but it seems to have been caused by an AI vision block in the door template for this level.
Essentially, when they opened a certain door type, NPCs could see anywhere in the mansion, no matter how many floors or walls got in the way. This was especially tricky when Tyson Williams was involved, as his character animation often sees him looking down, meaning he could see 47 floors below.
Note: This issue will unfortunately only be resolved on PC with this patch and will be included in our next patch for all other players.
Whittleton Creek: Bitter Pill
Fixed an issue where the laser security wires could trigger an alarm even after players disarmed the alarm system. This happened after players performed a save/load cycle.
