A talented Elden Ring cosplayer has brought the girl Melina to life, complete with the prominent ally’s eye tattoo and the iconic ethereal cloak.
A great Elden Ring cosplay transforms a talented fan into the game’s mysterious guide Melina. FromSoftware’s open-world fantasy epic sees players traverse the Lands Between on a quest to defeat demigod rulers and transcend to the throne of Elden Lord. Since the game’s launch, fans have made some great ones Elden Ring cosplays, with a brand new Melina recreation that looks like a real live-action FromSoftware movie.
After a brief exploration of the Lands Between alone Elden Ring players are confronted by Melina, a mysterious cloaked woman who appears out of nowhere. Melina offers to act as the tainted protagonist’s girl, as they have no guidance at the start of the game, as long as they take her to the Erdtree. Like comparable figures from previous FromSoftware titles such as dark souls and BloodborneMelina can help Elden Ring players by leveling them up and giving them advice. However, the character is not everything she seems, since Elden Ring lore and stories about Melina suggest that she is actually a demigod descendant of Lady Marika and Lord Radagon.
Master cosplayer and Reddit user mercurygin recently got a Elden Ring cosplay that transforms them into Melina. The ethereal ally’s clothing, including her dark cloak and Traveler’s Clothes outfit set, is perfectly handcrafted. The character’s distinctive red hair, marking her as a demigod descendant of Radagon, has also been recreated with a realistic wig. Makeup completes the Melina cosplay by adding the scarred and tattooed eye of the girl who keeps mercurygin closed to complete the illusion. The quality of the cosplay would fit perfectly in a big budget movie adaptation of Elden Ringwhich is a testament to mercurygin’s creative prowess.

Just as Melina was brought to life by mercurygin, a cosplayer named Sparrowhawk Cosplay recently created an amazing Elden Ring Malenia cosplay. The ruthless Goddess of Rot is widely regarded as the toughest boss in the open world, with her intimidating and regal design that inspired many tributes from fans and cosplays. Sparrowhawk Cosplay’s version of Malenia perfectly captures Malenia’s otherworldly design, including Blade of Miquella’s prosthetic arm and the iconic valkyrie helmet. FromSoftware has officially recognized this fan creation, forming a perfect duo with Malenia’s alleged sister Melina.
Melina is one of the main characters in Elden Ring, and the wandering girl has now been brought to life by mercurygin. The cosplayer has completely transformed herself into the iconic guide, down to her damaged eye and dark cloak. Elden Ring has inspired many cosplayers since even before its launch, and Mercurygin’s Melina would fit right in in a live-action movie adaptation of the FromSoftware epic.
