We start this list with the Redragon K621 Horus for a number of reasons. First, it’s a dedicated gaming keyboard with lots of keys for everything you need, and it’s also quite affordable for what it is. Most of the time, though, we’ve opted for this keyboard, and it’s first on the list because it’s essentially the Logitech G915 TKL.
Looking at the two keyboards, the design is so similar that you can easily combine them with a quick glance. Normally we’d go with the Logitech here, especially since it’s our favorite gaming keyboard to date. But it’s not compatible with the PS5. This one from Redragon is and because it has more or less the same design, it’s a wonderful alternative.
It has a really slim form factor along with ultra-low-profile keys. And it has everything from macros to RGB lighting. And unlike the G915 TKL, it uses backlighting on the secondary icons for each key. It also charges with USB-C instead of the horrific micro-USB option Logitech used for some reason. All in all, a great keyboard for PS5 here.

Despite the normally inflated price of many of its items, Razer makes some damn good gaming peripherals, and the BlackWidow V3 Pro is no different. Since this is wireless, you can easily use it with the PS5 and PC. Making it a versatile gaming keyboard if you play on both platforms. You can also keep the keyboard connected via Razer’s HyperSpeed wireless on PC and Bluetooth on PS5. So you can easily switch platforms by changing the connection type.
What we really love about it is the comfortable wrist rest that comes with it. This is removable and it uses magnets so removing and putting it back on is super easy to do. In addition to the palm rest, it also has a full numeric keypad and dedicated media controls. This is also normally $230. So the $139.99 price on Amazon right now is a screaming deal.
Razer BlackWidow V3 Pro
Apple Magic Keyboard
It may be designed for Apple computers, but it works fine with other devices. You can use this with the PS5, for example, and it’s a great option. It’s probably one of the thinnest keyboards in the world, making it ideal for storage purposes. Plus, the slim profile just looks really nice. It also has those really inconspicuous keys that are really easy to type on.
Granted, it has the Apple-specific keys instead of the Windows keys. But that’s okay, because you can still use those keys. They just have a different name. If you’re looking for a fairly reasonably priced super-slim keyboard that’s wireless, you can’t go wrong here.

Razer’s original Pro Type keyboard was a favorite of ours, and the Pro Type Ultra is simply an improved version of that initial release. With better battery life, super comfortable keys to type on, and a solid white backlight, this is a more subtle option than the Razer keyboard above.
This is also ergonomically designed so it puts less strain on your wrists. Which is not a bad thing if you plan on using this for extended periods of time while gaming. In addition, this keyboard also comes with a wrist rest that you can use if you want some extra comfort.

For a basic wireless keyboard that doesn’t cost much, it’s hard to beat the Logitech K360. It’s compact, making it easy to store and super comfortable to type on. The only downside is that this keyboard doesn’t have Bluetooth compatibility. Which means you’ll need to plug in the USB dongle to connect the keyboard wirelessly and that will take up one of the PS5’s USB ports.
Still, this is one of the best wireless keyboards for PS5 you can get. Because it’s affordable, simple and works. So if you don’t need anything fancy, this is a great option.

Razer Turret
The Razer Turret is an expensive keyboard, but if you’ve got your PS5 hooked up to your living room TV, there are few options that could possibly be better than the Turret, making this one of the best wireless keyboards for PS5. Simply because it is a lapboard. So it will sit more comfortably on your lap for use. It also comes with its own fold-out mouse pad and mouse, so if you plan on using a mouse and keyboard to play games, this makes things much easier.
This is another 2.4GHz wireless connection option, so you’ll need to use one of the USB ports on the PS5 if you’re going with this keyboard.

This is another quite expensive option, but it is is a newer keyboard and it comes with the latest technology from SteelSeries. Such as OmniPoint adjustable control switches. Admittedly, that’s a feature you can probably only use for PC. But that’s more of a reason to only consider this keyboard if you want something you can use with PC and PS5.
It’s also a 60% keyboard, making it ideal for storage next to your console or your PC desk. Wherever you decide to keep it when not in use.
You connect this with a 2.4GHz wireless connection or via Bluetooth. So you can keep the dongle connected to the PC and then use Bluetooth to connect to the PS5. It also has RGB backlighting for the keys and it’s made from aluminum alloy, so it should be quite durable. Although we still do not recommend testing the durability.

This is not much different from the K300, although there are some notable improvements. The K780, for example, has a nice lip over the top edge where you can place other devices. Kind of like a tripod. Which is great for a place to put your phone when not in use.
Note that the keys are not backlit here either. So it might not be the best keyboard if you tend to play PS5 in total darkness. But as long as you have a little light around to see the keys, you’re worth gold.

At one point we used this as our main mechanical keyboard for everyday use. And we loved it then and still love it now. In fact, it’s exactly the keyboard currently used for our PS5 typing needs. Now, that’s partly due to the fact that we already have this and it works, and don’t see the need to update to a new keyboard and spend that money.
This is a mechanical keyboard with RGB lighting and is wirelessly compatible with Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, PS4, PS5 and more. It also charges via USB-C which is always appreciated. And it can even be used in wired mode if you want to save battery.
At $80, this is a pretty good option thanks to its versatility.

Rounding up this list is the cheapest option here. So if you’re really trying to hit the bare minimum in terms of cost and features, this is a pretty great keyboard for the price. Especially if you only want to use it to chat in-game or via PS messages with friends.
The nice thing is that it has a mini touchpad along with a left and right click, similar to a mouse. This also uses replaceable batteries instead of a rechargeable one. So when the batteries run out, which Logitech says lasts about a year, just put in a new pair. Need some basics? Go with this.
