Bethesda Game Studios has produced numerous successful video games, the most notable of which comes from the RPG franchises, The Elder Scrolls and precipitation. Many revere this venerable series for their sprawling worlds, immersive knowledge, and immersive gameplay. In reality, there are few RPGs that compare to these franchises and achieve the same, if not more, success. Still, Bethesda wants the magic of The Elder Scrolls and precipitation of starfieldhis first new IP in 25 years in an era of space exploration and colonization.
starfieldaims to be a unique entry in Bethesda’s series of RPGs and take to the stars with a captivating universe powered by science fiction. It has made great strides to differentiate and triumph as a franchise in its own right, but there has to be a balance to do so. While it should strive to individualize itself, starfield don’t be afraid to take inspiration from other Bethesda games, especially from The Elder Scrolls and precipitation franchises. There is much to learn from these phenomenal RPG titles that have achieved significant, well-deserved success over the years.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is famous for its intriguing and captivating setting, which feels lifelike despite being so captivatingly wonderful. The land of Morrowind and its people has an air of realism and depth not seen in other Bethesda games. Every location, person and quest has nuance and meaning rather than an insignificant means to pass the time, which is consistent with the latest Bethesda RPGs.
starfield must adopt the approach The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind taken in creating his world. It should aim to make everything feel meaningful, detailed and alive. This allows players to immerse themselves in the world and treat everything more important. Therefore, allowing players to get lost in starfield and approach things not as they would other RPGs, but with a meaningful consideration of the world.
5 Seamless Captivating Immersion – Fallout 3
Fallout 3 immerses players in the game in a very seamless and engaging way. It gives players a glimpse into crucial points in the main character’s life, such as their birth, childhood and transformation into an adult. This visceral look at everyday life in the world of precipitation provides insight, allowing players to immerse themselves seamlessly. Such a unique approach to engaging players is unprecedented in other Bethesda titles and RPGs.
starfield should use the intimate way Fallout 3 immerses players in the game. It should take time to introduce and connect players to its world, giving them a deep understanding and sense of all it has to offer. So providing players with the perspective that is beneficial to engage in: starfield deep. This more meaningful immersion allows RPGs to shine brilliantly and stand out from the crowd, making them memorable and immersive.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion contains a variety of DLC intended to build on the world and provide players with additional content. Each expansion of the base game adds to it in a unique and immersive way, mimicking the magic from the main story while being clear enough to keep the players interested. These DLCs have earned The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion a lot of fame and notoriety that other Bethesda titles don’t, because their extra content is beyond compare.
starfield should look at The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion when creating DLC, as this is the hallmark of what expansions should be. It should provide additional content that captures the feel of the base game while doing something new, something that can stand on its own while being a meaningful addition. If you do this, you will stay starfield relevant for many years and deserve the same or the same reverence as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
3 A Balanced Atmosphere – Fallout: New Vegas
Fallout: New Vegas has a remarkable balance between the serious and the comedic to create a perfect atmosphere. There is never a dull moment as there is an air of solemnity with its fair share of hilarity. Fallout: New Vegas manages to blend a compelling feel with pointless comedy in a way that doesn’t cloud the game, but instead builds on it. Few RPGs can achieve such a balanced atmosphere, which often falls short.
starfield can learn a lot from Fallout: New Vegas and make it a point to balance their vibe, keep things serious while letting lighter tones shine through. Doing so makes the game a well-balanced experience that gives players comfort from the down-to-earth gravity of the game in general. Although the general atmosphere is heavy, starfield could use some light-hearted moments now and then, where the tone of the whole remains in balance.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gets a lot of credit for its emphasis on player freedom, which is significant in regard to the restrictiveness of some RPGs. This game allows players to do almost anything like join different factions regardless of whether they are a good match. While such freedom may seem ridiculous at times and ridiculous at times, the purpose of an RPG is to allow players to do whatever they want, within reasonable limits, of course.
starfield should strive for a comparable freedom of play as in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Maybe not to the same degree, but close, allowing players to do almost anything they want. Should starfield giving players considerable freedom in everything they do, there’s no telling how many things players can do in a galaxy with over a thousand worlds to explore and nearly endless possibilities to explore.
1 Crazy Futuristic Technology – Fallout 4
Fallout 4 features some of the most ridiculous yet surprisingly functional tech in the RPG genre. Giant nuclear weapons-throwing robots, molecule-changing teleporters and bowling ball launchers are some absurd technologies players can find in the game. Despite being the most outrageous science fiction works, they would do well to capitalize on the future of Fallout 4deserve players’ forgiveness for the madness and improbability of it all.
starfield should take from Fallout 4 and implement some crazy futuristic technology, though perhaps nothing as outlandish as a democracy-loving, communism-hating, nuke-toting machine. Still, the game’s realistic NASA punk theme could use some fun, if unrealistic, science fiction works. Such technologies can greatly improve starfield and take advantage of the genre, giving fans the science fiction RPG they’ve been envisioning for a while.
starfield is slated for release in 2023 on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
